With these paintings, I aim to capture the effortless harmony and profound beauty to be found in the simplicity of the shoreline. A beach has an irresistible appeal-a place where one sheds not only the burden of everyday clothing, but also the burdens of the mind, and finds a deep sense of peace with the incessant rhythm of the waves.
The inspiration for these works comes from my own desire for stillness in a world that often rushes on without pause. The interplay of light and shadow across the sand, the gentle curve of a wave meeting the shore, and the muted symphony of water meeting earth-this all draws me in and whispers a promise of peace.
Each piece is made with soft, flowing brushstrokes, reflecting the gentle ebb and flow of the tides. Layers of acrylic, enhanced with water-like transparency, invite the viewer to lose themselves in the depths of ocean colours.
